CLASSROOM NORMS FOR TECHNOLOGY

Students will await further instructions given by the teacher. Students will listen for teacher’s cue to close screen of iPad when whole-group attention is needed. Students will save/turn in work as needed and completely put away iPads when directed to do so. Students will visit only the websites listed in the activity, or stated by the teacher. Any accidental deviation to an unauthorized website should be reported to the teacher immediately. Students will not eat or drink in the classroom when iPads are being utilized. PHONES WILL BE SILENT AND PUT AWAY UNLESS GIVEN PERMISSION.

Students enrolled in US History are expected to be prepared for class with their iPad, textbook, writing utensil, and paper.  They should take notes and complete homework in a timely manner.  I also expect students to ask questions and seek help when appropriate.  In addition, students are expected to obtain passing test scores.

Quarantined students are expected to check in with Mr. Roberts via email. Google meet for presentations of lectures can be utilized once contact has been established with the teacher.

I look forward to exploring and learning US History with you this year. Through lectures, group work, videos, movies and research projects we will learn about the events that have changed and shaped our great country.

Sincerely,

Mr. Roberts
