What did we want to do?

Initial Goal:

• Anti-social media app that would send notifications after exceeding a minute of Snapchat screen time.
• Time permitting, add a leaderboard to rank everyone in class for a week based on time used.

• Realtime database-driven application that

would allow users to text back and forth.

• Relearn the basics of HTML & JavaScript

to create a website and create an app in

Software: Flutter SDK

Blocking downloads and messing with wifi-pairing

Outdated videos + unfamiliarity

Android Studios Inexperience

School Wifi

Instructions semi-clear but didn’t work overall.

What we learned:

Basics of Android Studio:

• Set up Firebase Realtime Database
• Design a user interface
• Take user inputs & display data

Challenges of Cross Compatibility

• Very few developer platforms for both
• Don’t need AI to do things :)

• Basics of programing in HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Relearning how to program in Python
• What API’s are and how to use them
• How to work with Replit and create different projects
