• Ensure transparency in how federal Title funds are used

• Fulfill ESSA requirements for stakeholder involvement

• Collect input to improve student outcomes

• Build partnerships with families, educators, and community

OVERVIEW OF ESSA TITLE PROGRAMS

• Title I: Support disadvantaged students (low-income, at-risk)

• Title II: Improve teacher/principal quality

• Title III: Support English Language Learners (ELLs)

• Title IV: Enrich student learning (well-rounded education, safe schools, technology)

Title I – Improving Academic Achievement:

• Supplemental academic interventions

• Schoolwide or targeted assistance programs

Title II – Supporting Effective Instruction:

• Professional development for teachers and leaders

• Recruitment and retention initiatives

• Class-size reduction strategies

Title III – English Language Acquisition:

• Language instruction programs for English learners

• Bilingual/ESL curriculum and resources

• Family outreach and support for multilingual families

Title IV – Student Support and Academic Enrichment:

• Well-rounded education (arts, STEM, civics, etc.)

• Safe and healthy school environments

• Effective use of educational technology
