. Introduction .

CLC (CrystaL Clear) are a girl group under Cube Entertainment, debuted in March 2015. The group originally debuted with 5 members (Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn, Yeeun), and 2 more members (Elkie, Eunbin) were added in February 2016.

CLC have a fruit concept, and every member has a fruit

that they picked to best reflect their personality.

After suggestions & voting by fans, CLC’s fandom

name Cheshire was chosen, representing how CLC

will always try to make fans smile like a

Cheshire cat.

Prior to debut, CLC were relatively known for

their busking to raise awareness and money

for children with disabilities, and for

this music video with GOT7 and B1A4 to

promote Family Love Day.

*Okay so the buzz here is that Eunbin was a contestant on Produce 101 and by her contract wasn’t allowed appear in the MV or promote with the girls...awksies (There’s a short version where Eunbin is awkwardly cut out but I like to pretend it’s not there)

Buckle in … this is a huge concept change
The girls said they’d been training for this style, and feel comfortable with a stronger style!
Sorn even put together a powerpoint about the style they could go with!
Hyuna helped with this release with everything from style, to the songs, to the performances!
CLC’s aim for this comeback was 500k views within a week...they got almost 1.5m in a day

Oh Seunghee

95.10.10 - Main Vocalist

Was the leader from debut until February 2016
Mothers the younger members and always supports them. When asked if the members behaves for her, Seunghee replied, "Yeah very nice babys"
Is a huge nerd, embarrassingly hilarious
Queen of vocals and piano
Really loves ducks, is a duck, signs her name with a duck

She starred in a mini-documentary-type video predebut. You can watch it here but it’s not subbed.
Seunghee’s fruit is an ‘innocent apple’ because despite being the eldest, she’s the most innocent member and she wants to be closer to fans, like the apple(?)
In July 2016, Seunghee began participating as a contestant on JTBC’s Girl Spirit, showcasing her vocal talent along with other talented girl group vocalists. This is her impressive performance from the first episode.

Choi Yoojin

96.08.12 - Lead Dancer, Vocalist

The most beautiful girl in the whole entire world tbh
She appeared on Real Men, gaining some popularity
Made her acting debut in a webdrama in March 2016
She is tiny...her face is the size of a CD
She does a fast forward version of Pepe (Seunghee does a slow verson to go with it)
As the team’s lead dancer, she is the queen of dancing
Is friends with WJSN’s Bona (in fact CLC and WJSN are all friends!)
Almost kissed Seunghee once..a beautiful moment
Her fruit, strawberry, was chosen as it represents her “refreshing and sweet” charms.

Jang Seungyeon

960.11.06 - Leader, Lead Vocalist, Main Dancer

Seungyeon has been the leader since ‘High Heels’ and she’s doing a really great job!
She’s the main dancer in the group, so she ties with Yoojin as the dancing queen
Honestly...a huge embarrassment (simultaneously the sweetest girl alive)
She was almost added to Apink, following Yookyung’s departure. She is still close with the members
Along with Yeeun, and Monsta X members, she had a weekly part on Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio for almost a year
Gives the best hugs
Seungyeon chose orange as her fruit because she is the most cheerful and lively member

Sorn

96.11.18 - Lead Vocalist

Her full name is Chonnasorn Sajakul
Born in Thailand, Sorn was discovered through the show “Kpop Star Hunt” when she won the first season of the show at the age of fifteen
Sorn is fluent in four different languages; English, Thai, Mandarin and Korean
Following Kpop Star Hunt, Sorn appeared in a mini documentary for Arirang, following her life as a trainee
In April 2017, Sorn started a live stream via Youtube called Produsorn, streaming every Tuesday and Friday. She’s put so much work into it, so please show her support!

She was the youngest before the addition of the newest members, but she loves being the older one and loves the new members so much
She is this cute - aegyo queen
She was on Running Man once
She also appeared on Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio once a week for a while with Seungyeon!

Elkie

98.11.02 - Vocalist, Dancer

Her full name is Chong Ting Yan or Elkie Chong
She is CLC’s ‘Happy Virus’, and it’s true - she can usually be found laughing or smiling or spreading general joy
Born and raised in Hong Kong, she entered Cube in 2015 through audition
Elkie the first of the two new members announced to join the group, and was revealed on February 25th 2016. Elkie debuted as a CLC member during High Heels promotions, and she had her debut stage on March 3rd.
Elkie can speak English, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese
She was a child actor in Hong Kong, and member of Honey Bees project girl group. She also took part in talent concerts in Hong Kong.
She has a really lovely voice too
She was a KPop fan before joining Cube, and there covered dances previously, including Love Options by Bestie and SNSD Oh!
Cherry was selected as Elkie’s fruit during a V-App broadcast because she looks like a cherry!

Kwon Eunbin

00.01.06 - Maknae, Dancer

Eunbin was revealed as CLC’s new maknae on February 26th 2016
Eunbin was already known to the public as she was a contestant on Produce 101 at the time. Due to her contract, Eunbin could not join the group for High Heels promotions, meaning their next comeback will be Eunbin’s official debut as a CLC member!
