Synopsis

The first Formula Bharat 2017 competition took place at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore between January 26 to 29, 2017 and it had an attendance of 46 engineering student teams and 133 volunteers from all over India. Formula Bharat is a motorsports-driven engineering design competition in which students are required to build a Formula-style vehicle and compete in areas of design, marketing, overall cost and dynamic performance on track.

The successes of this event was marked by the following:

  • Significant social media outreach and active follower base
  • Well-organized event that received praise from sponsors and industry judges alike
  • Globally recognized as an Indian Formula Student event
  • Increased pre-registration numbers for Formula Bharat 2018

The following report is a culmination of the above to provide potential sponsors with the return of investment and future sponsorship opportunities that this nation-wide competition has to offer.
