Welcome message

  • WIS was set up in 2016 to provide a high-quality education for children in the local area. We deliver the British curriculum within a UAE context.

  • At WIS we always strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment. We see parents as partners in their child’s learning and we look forward to working closely with you all this year.

  • Welcome to secondary school, we can’t wait to be a part of your Wales journey!

Extra Curricular Activities

At Wales International School we are proud to offer a wide range of activities to enhance the children's experiences at school. From arts and crafts, to sports clubs, quiz club and Qu’ran club, the children can choose an activity that inspires and ignites their imagination.

We also have a number of children who are regularly taking part in activities in the community and we would love to share in their successes with them.

Absence and lateness

Children need to be in school by 7:45 am so that they do not miss assembly and the National Anthem at the start of the day. Please ensure that your child arrives at school ontime.

School finishes at 2:30pm

If your child is unwell and is unable to come to school, please message your child’s teacher on dojo or contact Miss Nessma or Mr Mostafa. Children should bring a signed sick note into school when they are well enough to return.
