REALMS OF THE EARTH
The Earth has four Realms of the Earth,
LITHO SPHERE :Litho + Sphere
The term lithosphere refers to the solid layer of the earth which consists of rocks of various types . It rests on the top of mantle and contains sial and sima .All the continents on the globe are the parts of Lithosphere. They contain all sort of land forms including mountains , plateaus , plains .

Hydrosphere consists of the water component of earth which includes oceans , seas , glaciers ,lakes , ponds ,rivers ,streams and underground water It is estimated that 71 % of the total surface area of the earth is covered by water nd the land area accounts for only 29% of the total surface of the earth

Atmosphere is a vast expanse of air which envelops and has become an integral part of the earth due to the earth’s gravitational force . The air of the atmosphere is colourless , odourless and tasteless .It is mobile , compressible and expandable . We cannot feel the presence of the air unless it blows as wind . About 99%of the total mass of the atmosphere is with the height of 32 km from the earth ‘ s surface
