Let’s Play Ball

Balls are usually shaped like circles and come in many different sizes and colors.

�They bounce, they roll, they can be kicked, they can be thrown, and they can even be hit.

Let’s play ball!

This is a basketball. Basketballs are round and usually a brownish orange color. They have indented black curvy lines.

It’s fun to bounce a basketball by yourself or with a friend. Count how many bounces you can get!

Let’s play ball!

This is a tennis ball. Tennis balls are round, fuzzy yellow balls with curvy indented white lines.

It’s fun to throw a tennis ball at a wall or for your dog to fetch!

This is a soccer ball. Soccer balls are round and have a pattern of hexagons in one color and a pattern of pentagons in another color.

It’s fun to kick a soccer ball toward a goal or with a friend. How many goals can you score?

This is a bouncy ball. Bouncy balls are round and are usually soft.

It’s fun to roll this ball back and forth at a wall or with a friend! Roll it then catch it when it comes back! How many can you catch?

This is a beachball. Beachballs are round and filled with air which makes them float.

It’s fun to hit a beachball ball back and forth with a friend. How long can you keep it in the air without letting it hit the ground?
