STANDING COMMITTEES

  • Nominations: 3 members are elected to propose a slate of candidates for our annual meeting�
  • Voter Engagement: work to set up and staff voter events to help citizens understand the voting process and find information about candidates�
  • Candidate Forums: Puts on forums for local races�
  • Activities/Events: Organizes programs to inform the public of local issues. Organizes activities for LWV members

Communications: Handles website, emails, articles to newspaper, or letters to the editor, facebook and instagram

Advocacy/Action: Tracks information from LWVMN’s zoom calls or emails. Then let's communication committee know what actions need to be taken by our members

Membership: Tracks information from LWVMN & LWVUS about membership. Maintains membership lists, talks with new members, helps plan events to recruit new members
