Priority Instructional Videos and Materials
These resources were created after the release of the 2020-2021 Priority Instructional Content in ELA/Literacy and Mathematics documents by the Student Achievement Partners. The resources were created to help teachers better plan their school year taking into consideration that students missed an entire quarter last school year.
It is recommended to use the PDF of the slides and/or the Priority Standards document along with the video of the 2020-2021 Priority Instructional Content for Mathematics by the HIDOE’s Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design. Links to all documents are on the slide 4 and 5.

During these uncertain times, please take care of yourself and your students. Build that sense of community whether it is face-to-face, synchronous or asynchronous. Get to know your students and their families. It will help you with management, connecting with students, and in turn it will make teaching and learning more enjoyable for everyone.
Not mentioned in the video but of equal importance as the content standards are the Standards for Mathematical Practice. There are 8 of them that all math teachers should be incorporating with the content standards.
At any point during the video, you may want to pause and reflect on your own or with others to discuss something that may have resonated with your or that you have a question about.
