con sentido de futuro

Usualmente utilizamos los tiempos SIMPLE PRESENT y PRESENT CONTINUOUS para hablar de acciones rutinarias y de acciones que están sucediendo en este momento, respectivamente.

Es importante destacar que también podemos utilizar el SIMPLE PRESENT o el PRESENT CONTINUOUS con un sentido de futuro:

The meeting starts at 7:00 tomorrow

I’m going to the gym tomorrow at 7:00

SIMPLE PRESENT (FUTURE)

Utilizamos el SIMPLE PRESENT con un sentido de futuro para referirnos a acciones programadas en un futuro próximo (scheduled actions).

The plane leaves at 9:00

El avión parte a las 9:00

I have a dentist’s appointment tomorrow morning

Tengo una cita con el dentista mañana

The meeting starts at 10:00

La reunión comienza a las 10:00
