Plagiarism and academic honesty
Academic honesty is of the utmost importance at BFHS.
It affects not just your grade, but your honesty and character
Students have an obligation to submit only work that they have created.
Cheating, copying, and plagiarizing others’ work, including from internet sources or AI is taken seriously and results in a zero plus detention and further discipline if repeated.
Remember the Charger Way 3- “Act honorably and with integrity in all situations.”
Other School Policies Questions?
Opening Ceremony
At BFHS, we believe in taking time each day to gather together and reinforce our school culture by:
Conference Time
Conference Time is set aside every day for you to get work done, study, or get extra help from teachers.
You must ask for a pass the day before if you are traveling to a different class.
If you need help from me during conference time, you will go to room 226 (Miss Billinger’s room)
*Use your conference time wisely! It is an opportunity to get work done and have less to do at home
Take Responsibility
It is up to you to take responsibility for your own learning!
Ask when you have questions, get help from me if you need it
Set aside time daily for homework and stick to it
Check your grades often

Sanitation procedures
Because I am going through cancer treatments, my immune system is weak, and this means I need to be careful about exposure to germs/ viruses.
Please don’t come to class if you are sick, and wash your hands as often as possible.
I will maintain some distance guidelines and wear a mask in certain situations.
I may ask you to wipe or spray your desks frequently.
Thanks for helping to keep me healthy!
