Purpose, Eligibility, and Grant Amount

  • The purpose of the (PAHC) is to provide funding to support security enhancements to nonprofit organizations with facilities and membership that can be targeted for a hate crime. Funding through this application is available to nonprofit organization, including faith-based organizations.
  • Nonprofit Organizations and Faith-based Organizations are eligible for the grant.
  • The maximum amount to request is $150,000.00 and the Grant period is July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.

Document #1: IRS Determination Letter

Employer Identification Number: Letter received from the IRS to the parent organization 

Document #2: Letter on official organization letterhead�The letter must be on the official letterhead of the applying parent organization and contact information. 

Organization Information (Whom the funds will go): 

Full Legal Name, Address (Street, City, Zip Code, Maryland), Maryland Congressional District Number, and Maryland Legislative District Number Phone, Organization Phone and Fax Number, Email Address, and Website

Individual contact information

Include all of the contact information listed on the new user page (name, title, organization, address, phone, email, etc.) for each of the four grant officials:

  1. Authorized official of the parent organization�The authorized official is the person legally responsible for accepting grant funds for your organization: executive director, president, chief of police, CEO, mayor, town administrator, county executive, etc.
  2. Project director
  3. Financial officer
  4. Civil rights contact

Submitting the required documents

Please scan the documents to a pdf file and email them to support@goccp.freshdesk.com.

If everything appears correct, we will begin entering the information into the GMS. If something is missing or incorrect, we will contact you.�

Receiving your credentials

Credentials will be created for, and emailed to, the project director and financial officer. The authorized official and civil rights contact will be entered into the GMS as organization contacts but will not be issued credentials unless specifically requested.
