AP Drawing or AP 2D?
Which portfolio do I sign up for?
How Do I Register for the AP Drawing or AP 2D Art & Design Portfolio?
Step 1: It does not matter which class you are enrolled in at TPHS, you can register to submit an AP Drawing or AP 2D Design portfolio regardless of what class you are taking at TPHS.
Step 2: Review what is the difference between the 2 portfolios. Discuss with Mrs., Doerrer what kind of media, styles. and techniques you like. Then decide which portfolio best represents your artwork.
Step 3: Join the MyAP class on the myap.collegeboard.org website for the portfolio you WANT to submit.
The class you enroll in on the MyAP website is for the portfolio you WANT to submit - it is NOT for the class you are taking at TPHS.
Step 4: go to AP Central to register and pay for your exam. Register for the SAME portfolio you signed up for on the MyAP website, which should be the portfolio you WANT to submit to the College Board.
*The portfolio you enroll in on MyAP Website must be the SAME portfolio you register for on AP Central.
They MUST MATCH.
*It does not matter what class you are enrolled in at TPHS.
