  • You want to find facebook groups of your niche to apply to get into them
    • Go to Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/feed/
    • Search for different variations of your facebook group

STEP 1: GET INTO FACEBOOK GROUPS

It’s a targeted, already built list of all your decision makers that you want and need

  • Most have a filter you have to fill out:
    • Fill out as you see fit
    • If you are doing marketing already for someone in the niche you can say you are the marketing role for the company which keeps it truthful.
    • Your goal is to GET IN - that’s all you want.
  • Once you get added into the facebook group, you’ll want to capture the most valuable information (people)just in case you get kicked out. Do this immediately.
    • GoFullPage chrome extension
    • go to the members part of the FB group, scroll until all the group members are shown or at least a good couple hundred are listed
    • then capture the screenshot so you have all the names and photos in case for some reason you get kicked out.

  • You want to do this after because sometimes you’ll have a better chance of getting into your group if you are more subtle on your FB profile on who you are
  • Major items to rebrand:
    • Cover photo
    • Profile photo
    • Bio Intro
  • Someone should quickly go to your FB page and see you are a decent human and have a business you represent
  • Delete divisive political or really stupid posts over the last 3-6 months
  • Then moving forward you're should have your posts be a combination of 3 posts business 2 personal

  • It’s called the money cycle because when you consistently do this, you make money
  • Money Cycle is the process of new friends, new outreach, new conversations
  • Tips to thrive in the money cycle:
    • Do this in the morning
    • Be consistent, even on Saturday
    • Respond swiftly when you get a response
    • Don’t give up

This is extreme leverage because you are going to be leveraging Facebook’s Algorithm to be in front of all the people you want to be in front of and get the best opportunity to make the right kind of connections.

  • ‼️ You can’t add tons of friends at once you need to do this systematically. new add every 1-2 minutes
    • Figure out what FB will allow you to add in a span of about an hour. It’s different for everybody.
  • Then add and make friends!
    • You want to go slow - add a new friends every couple minutes
    • Do about 15-25 per day depending on your Facebook limits
  • ‼️ Eventually FB starts suggesting friends to you

  • Go to FB → Profile (Top Right) →Settings & Privacy → Activity → “Your Friends”
  • This is now easier and less spammy in the eyes of FB and you go straight to the inbox
  • ‼️ WHERE THE MONEY IS AT IS IN THE MESSAGING!
    • Create a simple to the point message
    • DO NOT ASK HOW THEY ARE DOING. YOU AND THEY DON’T CARE
    • Go Straight to the point and waste no time. Make it clear.
    • Mention, thoughtfully, something that shows you know the industry
    • Careful not to copy and paste names
  • Example: “Hey Tim- I’m Travis and I help moving company owners get more leads and sales by leveraging Google. Do you need any help with this? Especially as we go into the busy season.”

  • Your goal is to create value and to engage organically
  • Do this with questions of curiosity
  • ❗ DO NOT just send a meeting link. Send over a few times and dates with your availability and if those don't work you can drop your Hubspot meeting link.

  • **Yes** → Continue the conversation organically by sharing more about our business as needed.
    • The goal is to get a meeting set with them to show them what we do and the opportunities they have for growth in their market. (See Joe)
  • **No or Not Interested**
    • Reply empathetically with something like “no worries” or “totally understand” and move on. Don’t waste your time yet.
