ISN Set up

ISN = Interactive Student Notebook��This is the notebook you will need to bring to English every day and use for notes.

Reading logs

Reading Rate

Read for 10 minutes. Count the number of pages read.

X 3 (for 30 minutes a day)

X 5 (for school days a week)

=

# of pages you can read in a school week in that book

How many pages do you read in 10 minutes?

EXAMPLE

8 pages in 10 minutes

So that means in 30 minutes...

Triple the page number

=

24 pages in 30 minutes

Expected pages to be read in a week

24 pages per night X 5 days a week

= 120 pages a week
