You create an avatar and choose a username
And then you can send letters to others around the world!
You can filter languages, and places -> its very easy to use!

Tandem

more language learning-centered
offers many features such as messages where you can correct others' mistakes and translate messages you don't understand
video call, audio call, or join rooms to practice your skills
have to upload a photo of yourself but you can filter
Regardless, it's a brilliant way to practice languages with real natives who are helpful and patient.

Pen Pal Program - China

This program is email-based and allows students the opportunity to communicate with others who speak a distinctly different language and come from a culture with many differences from their own.

Yes; AK PenPals is a pen pal club, but we go beyond simply sending messages. We come together each month to share our experiences with our pen pals and expand our worldview as Americans.
