Google Classroom Quest

1. Open Google Classroom from Wake ID
2. Find the Technology Quest post on the stream. Post a response.
3. Go into the assignment tab. Look for the Technology Quest assignment and follow the directions.
4. Submit the assignment to your teacher.
5. If you make a mistake, you can unsubmit your work to fix it.
6. Look for your teacher’s feedback with a bonus task!

Wake ID Quest

• Log on to Wake ID
• Find the icon for Dreambox and complete a lesson.
• Go to BrainPop Jr and find the video for Internet Safety. Watch this video and take the easy quiz.
• You have earned your Wake ID badge!

Google Drive Quest

Updated to be a little easier:)

• In another tab, open Wake ID
• Find the icon for Google Drive and open
• Look for your Google Classroom Folder
• Back in Google drive, click on the PLUS and make a new folder.
• Name it 3rd Grade. Can you change the color?
• You have earned your Google Drive badge!

Google Meet Quest

• Go to Google Classroom and find the Google Meet link in the heading
• Did you enter this link successfully on Thursday and/or Friday last week?
• Great! You have earned your Google Meet badge!

Google Slides Quest

• Go to Google Classroom
• Go to the Assignment tab and find: “Summer Magnetic Poetry Template”
• Practice cutting and pasting the words to create your own summer poem.
• Click the turn in button to turn into your teacher

Google Docs Quest

• Open Google Classroom
• Go to the assignments tab
• Find the assignment “Vision Board Guiding Questions”
• Follow the directions in the Doc
• Once you finish, turn in your work by clicking the button

Google Drawing Quest

• Go to Google Classroom
• Click on the assignments tab
• Find “Digital Vision Board”
• Click on the plus. Add a Google Drawing
• Add a background by clicking on the picture icon (two mountains) and searching backgrounds.
• Continue adding pictures, text boxes, and shapes to your Google Drawing
• When you finish, click the turn in button to submit to your teacher

Xtramath Quest

• Go to xtramath.org
• Click Sign In (top right)
• Choose the green student tab
• Enter the following:

Email: cvaughan@wcpss.net

First name: type your first name!

Pin: type your birth month and day

So if my bday is March 17, I write 0317

• Listen to the intro video from Mr. C
• Complete your first lesson. Mrs. V will see when you have done this.

EPIC! Quest

• Go to www.getepic.com/students
• Enter the class code: bab1462
• Click your name
• Look for the book I assigned you and read the first few pages.
• Explore for 2-3 minutes by typing in the grey search box about a topic that interests you.
• Add books to your library for later!
