Course Selection Reminders

  • Do your best to select your courses. Your counselor will review your choices and make sure they are appropriate based on your academic history, teacher recommendations, and course prerequisites
  • Choose classes based on your goals for after high school
    • 2-year community college, 4-year university, trade school, military, or work
  • Choose your elective classes carefully, as courses are year-long and changes at the semester are not permitted.

8 of 16

  • Once schedules are created, course changes will be extremely limited and will ONLY be considered for:
        • Necessary level changes
        • Summer school completion
        • Failing to meet prerequisites
  • Electives will NOT be changed.
  • Requests for teacher, lunch, or period preference will not be considered.
  • Eligible course changes are not guaranteed and are dependent upon availability and course change policies.

Choose Your Classes Wisely!
