Community TV Network presents...

Hard Cover’s Poetry Special (Parts 1 & 2)

Hard Cover: Voices and visions of Chicago’s youth is CTVN’s youth-produced TV show, currently running on CAN TV on Mondays at 5:30 pm and Tuesdays at 12:30 pm. Our 2-Part Poetry Special showcases spoken-word project from our students new and old!

Despite COVID-related delays, Part 2 of the special is here! It focuses on the subjects of performance poetry and expressing loss through poetry, as well as focusing on the hard work done behind-the-scenes of Kuumba Lynx!

Part 1 of the special was created in honor of National Poetry Month! It focuses on projects about loneliness, community, career hopes, spoken word events (Louder Than A Bomb) and more from our 45+ years of media education!

Subscribe to our Youtube channel to watch these episodes and keep up-to-date on Hard Cover’s newest episodes! You can watch the Poetry specials here: Part 1 & Part 2
