Our Survey Results
“ I used to take PT with my husband or to work but due to COVID I no longer feel comfortable b/c people don't wear masks. ”
“ My physical safety is my biggest concern.”
Our Problem
How might we improve the app to ease these concerns of commuters regarding physical and hygienic safety on public transportation to help them ride with confidence and bring ridership back to pre-pandemic levels?
Proto-persona
Interviews
We found that women were our primary audience. The results showed that users did not feel safe using public transportation because of Covid along with the fear of being assaulted. This then led us to our next Question….. How can we offer users a service that will make them feel safe while using public transportation? View here
Competitor Analysis
Our Competitor Analysis consisted of google maps and noon light. These were the two apps that we felt would give us most information to form a better understanding of what a user needs.
