Grading Policy

The quarterly grade is total points (not weighted). Typical points are:

  • Do Nows/Exit Tickets/Padlet Posts - 2 points
  • Classroom activities/assignments/labs - 5 points
  • Quizzes and projects - 20-25 points

Enriched Science for next year

In order to qualify for enriched science next year, your child must…

  • Receive a A- or higher average grade for the year
  • Pass the multiple choice and written portions of the placement test taken in February/March
