On this slide, discuss the overarching topic of the module and its relevance to the course in which it will be implemented or why you think its an important/interesting topic.
Learning Objectives
List your module learning objectives here
Quantitative Competencies
Discuss which quantitative competencies and goals are addressed in the module. Be specific about specific goals (i.e., students will generate and interpret a bar vs. box and whiskers plot, or students will perform and interpret a Chi-squared analysis).
Assessment Plans
Discuss your plans for formative and summative assessments and provide any assessments developed thus far.
Formative assessments: briefly describe how they will be implemented and structured (e.g., free response questions, multiple choice quizzes)
Summative assessments: briefly discuss the types of questions that will be used and where they will be implemented (e.g., unit exams, final exams)
Proposed Timeline
Discuss your team’s plans for finishing, piloting, and revising the module. This may include your meeting frequency, roles for each team member, environments where the module will be piloted, and internal deadlines.
