DQ Feedback Activity

Follow directions below to give and receive feedback about your Driving Question:

  1. Locate your note card from our last session - you should have a draft Driving Question written on it
  2. Get in your MINI-Capstone group
  3. Pass your card to a group to the RIGHT.
  4. Read the DQ you received. On the BACK of the card, write a suggestion or ask a question
  5. Use the DQ Checklist when evaluating your peers’ DQs.

CHOOSE A TOPIC

Work as a group to discuss all topics that were developed and decide on ONE topic for the MINI-Capstone

Choose a MINI-Capstone Topic for your GROUP

Use the points below to discuss possible topics and decide:

  • Take turns reading topics your group came up with
  • Find common themes
  • Decide, based on common themes, what the best topic might be for your group
  • Be respectful of others’ ideas and thoughtful about how you respond to others
  • CHOOSE - pick your final topic that the group can agree on
  • WRITE DQ - as a group, write your FINAL DRIVING QUESTION that you will use for the MINI-Capstone Project (this can be on one of the group member’s original note cards or you can ask the Advisor for a new card.)
  • ADD your PRODUCT description - make sure you discuss and choose the product you will create for this MINI-Capstone - write this on your card as well.

POST YOUR DQ

Use the next slide to follow directions for posting your FINAL Driving Question to the UNRULR prompt your advisor has created. Make sure to also add it to your ICAP.

TURN IN YOUR DQ FOR REVIEW

1. POST YOUR DQs TO UNRULR:

  • CHOOSE ONE STUDENT FROM YOUR GROUP TO POST!!!
  • + Create an original post on your Unrulr, “create a moment.”
  • Upload a CLEAR PHOTO of your Topic, Driving Question, and Product Description from your notecard
  • Tag a “Traits & Skills” COG you demonstrated today
  • In your CAPTION include: 1. All Group Member Names and 2. How your group demonstrated the tagged trait/skill COG.
  • Check for accuracy, choose to share with “Teachers Only”
  • Post your moment to Unrulr.
  • Make sure to also post it to your ICAP

2. TURN IN HARD COPY:

  • Share the photo of your DQ notecard with your group to have as a reference.
  • Turn in your hard copy note card to your Advisor at this time - make sure all names from your group are on the card!
