Moving from Grade 6 into 7

2 of 27

We pay respect to the Algonquin people and we acknowledge that this is their ancestral and traditional territory which remains unceded. We are grateful for the opportunity to work, learn, play, and pray on this land.

Prayer

God, Most Holy Trinity,

You are our Creator, our Redeemer, and our Sustainer,

Help us to embrace a spirit of welcome and hospitality.

May each person receive a warm smile and a sincere welcome.

Help us to be a community of justice and mercy.

May the needs of the most vulnerable direct our energies and priorities.

May each new student finds a place of belonging

And be supported in their learning and growth.

May each parent be strengthened and comforted

as they support their child through this transition.

We ask this in your holy name.

Amen.

French Programs

The French pathway is a

year-long commitment.

A discussion with your child’s French teacher is beneficial when deciding which French pathway your child will pursue, that being either Immersion or Core.

French is the language of instruction in all French Immersion classes, and students are expected to use French at all times.

Please ensure that you and your child feel comfortable and well informed with this decision, as it is a year long commitment.
