By any measure, 2025 was a banner year for CSR Firewise

  • Continued to grow the Geezer Community & awareness of fire risk
  • Raised $6200
    • Quilt raffle- $1050
    • Pure cash donations- $850
    • Firewise for donation program- $4300
  • Firewise approximately 10 wilderness acres, 5 property donation acres, untold drop off acres cleared
  • Managed Property Owner Drop off Program- ~ 30, 000 cubic feet of ladder fuels reduced to mulch
  • July Flood- The Geezer’s Posted!
    • Cleaned up our front gate
    • Cleaned up our River Park
    • Volunteered in Hunt community
  • In November we received a glowing Firewise/Texas A&M assessment and certificate
  • Managed to budget
  • Over 650 volunteer hours( Gus 130 hours x 5 man/hrs)
