ABOUT US

Leadstart Media, Inc. - leadstart.org

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Atlanta, Georgia, focused on digital equity and economic empowerment for undeserved entrepreneurs.

What we do

We design and host professional websites for local small businesses and sole proprietors — the design is free, clients pay only for hosting and care.

Why we do it

Thousands of local businesses still have no web presence. We document our contributions to the community while helping owners compete online.

Where we work

Headquartered in Atlanta, serving Fulton County and beyond — by phone nationwide, and in person through monthly local canvassing events.

Your role funds the mission: every hosting subscription keeps free design, community workshops, and our creative platform alive.

ABOUT US

Leadstart, LLC — leadstart.media

Our platform is being built as a free creative resource hub for entrepreneurs: stock imagery, website templates, and business tools.

Where we are today

  • The platform library is currently empty — we're in the build-out phase
  • Actively recruiting artists, photographers & developers to contribute content
  • Contributors help stock the library with images, templates & code blocks
  • Volunteer contributions may qualify for verified volunteer hours

Where we're going

  • A public library of one million free, high-quality creative assets for entrepreneurs
  • Every client website draws from the platform — faster builds, better quality
  • Contributor community with attribution and portfolio credit
  • Long-term: revenue-sharing opportunities for top contributors

Know an artist or developer? Send them our way — we're growing the creative community behind the platform.

ABOUT US

Editors & the Bulk Generation Project

One Million Images

Our creative project: generating imagery, videos, templates, and HTML/CSS code blocks at scale using a massive free asset library for small businesses.

Editors Needed

We need editors and curators to review, tag, and polish bulk-generated assets so only quality work reaches the public library.

Community Grants

We are applying for community grant funding to support the project and compensate contributing artists.

Stock Licensing

We're exploring split-commission arrangements with major stock platforms such as Adobe Stock — contributors could share in licensing revenue from accepted work.

Sales Executive — at a glance

JOB TITLE

Sales Executive

COMPENSATION

$300+ per week

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Part-time · at-will

EXPERIENCE

None required

LOCATION

Atlanta, GA · Remote OK

ORGANIZATION

501(c)(3) nonprofit

Your mission: call business leads, introduce our free-website offer, qualify prospects, and convert them into hosting clients. You're technically your own boss — flexible hours, but a minimum of 20 hours per week.

9 of 35

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities

Make a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day using company-provided leads

Follow our sales script to introduce our web services

Qualify prospects and schedule or close sales opportunities

Document every call, note & follow-up in our CRM — accurately

Hit weekly sales goals: minimum 1–2 new client conversions per week

Work at least 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Join monthly canvassing events in the Atlanta area (visiting local businesses & neighborhoods)

Distribute marketing materials & drive QR-code scans for free website demos

Represent us professionally — on the phone and face-to-face interactions

Follow all compliance rules: recording notices, do-not-call, calling hours

10 of 35

THE ROLE

A typical 4-hour workday

9:00 AM

Log in & prep

Open the CRM, review leads, check follow-ups due, warm up with the script.

9:15 AM

Power calling — block 1

~45 dials from your queue. Log every call disposition in the CRM as you go.

11:00 AM

Break & follow-ups

15-minute break, then reply to interested prospects: send info packets & consultation-form links.

11:30 AM

Power calling — block 2

~45–55 more dials. Prioritize callbacks and warm leads from earlier in the week.

12:45 PM

Wrap-up

Finish CRM notes, schedule tomorrow's follow-ups, report daily numbers.

Times are an example — your 4-hour block is flexible, as long as you never call a prospect after 7:00 PM in their time zone.

11 of 35

THE ROLE

Your targets — the numbers that matter

100-300

calls per day

minimum, from company-provided leads, 100 for manual calls/300 for autodialer

1–2

qualified leads per day

prospects who share their info for a packet

1–2

conversions per week

signed clients — required to keep receiving leads

20

hours per week

minimum commitment, flexible scheduling

Lead flow is earned. Part-time representatives must maintain $300+ per week in commissions (about 2 conversions) to continue receiving company-provided leads. Consistency keeps your pipeline full.

12 of 35

THE ROLE

What we provide — you focus on selling

Qualified business leads

Fresh leads loaded into your CRM daily — you never prospect cold

Proven sales script

Word-for-word call flow with responses for every path

Custom CRM access

Our custom-built CRM for lead management & call logging

Business phone system

Company number with call recording — your personal number stays private

Website samples & materials

Demo sites and marketing collateral to share with prospects

On-boarding & coaching

Training, ongoing support, and script coaching as you ramp up

13 of 35

THE ROLE

Where your leads come from

We do all the lead sourcing and setup. Your job is the conversation and the conversion.

New domain registrations

Businesses that just registered a domain name — they're actively thinking about their web presence but often haven't built anything yet. Perfect timing.

Google map listings

Local businesses on Google Maps with no website (or a weak one) linked to their profile. They're visible but not converting online searchers.

Newly registered businesses

Brand-new business registrations — owners in startup mode who need a professional web presence to launch credibly.

Every lead in your queue was chosen because they likely need exactly what we sell.

14 of 35

THE ROLE

How our websites get built — fast

1. Consultation form

Client completes our short form: colors, fonts, themes, competitor references

→

2. AI-assisted build

We generate the site with artificial intelligence — professional quality, fast

→

3. WordPress hosting

Static pages with dynamic forms, hosted & maintained by Leadstart Media

→

4. Live in 1–2 days

If the consultation form is complete, the site can be built in one to two days

Why this matters on your calls: “If you complete the consultation form today, your free sample site can be ready within one to two business days.” That urgency converts.

Smartphone with UNLIMITED talk

Calls route through our business number to your phone — an unlimited-minutes plan is essential at 100 dials/day. Prospects never see your personal number.

Tablet or desktop for the CRM

Keep the CRM open on a second screen while you call — log dispositions in real time without juggling apps on one device.

Reliable internet connection

Required for the CRM, email follow-ups, and sending consultation-form links while you're on the line.

Headset (recommended)

Hands-free calling keeps you fast on the keyboard. Any budget USB or Bluetooth headset works.

04

SECTION FOUR

The Sales Script

Word-for-word: the opening, both paths, data capture, and the close.

25 of 35

THE SALES SCRIPT

The opening — one question decides the path

YOU SAY

“Hello, may I speak with the owner of [business name]? Hi, my name is [your name] and I'm calling from Leadstart Media, a local 501c3 nonprofit here in Atlanta. Quick question for you — do you currently have a website for your business?”

If YES — they have a website

Thank them for the information, pull up their site while on the call, and evaluate it. If it looks dated or weak, pivot to the free upgrade offer. → Path A

If NO — no website

Great news for them: introduce the free website offer from a local nonprofit existing to small businesses and sole proprietors. → Path B

Tone tip: friendly, local, unhurried. You're a neighbor from a nonprofit with good news — not a telemarketer with a pitch.

26 of 35

THE SALES SCRIPT

Path A — they already have a website

STEP 1 · ACKNOWLEDGE

“Thank you for that information — let me take a quick look while we're talking.” (Pull up their site in the CRM or your browser.)

STEP 2 · IF THE SITE NEEDS WORK, OFFER THE FREE UPGRADE

“I'm looking at your site now, and honestly, I can see it needs some work — it may be costing you customers. We're offering a completely free website upgrade: a fresh professional redesign at no design cost. You'd only pay for hosting, which is just $25 a month, or $300 for the year.”

Be specific & kind

Name one or two real issues you see: dated design, not mobile-friendly, slow loading, missing contact info.

Offer the packet

If they're interested, capture their details (next slide) and send the info packet + consultation form.

If their site is strong

Compliment it, offer our other services briefly (email, phone, marketing, SEO) — and exit politely if there's no fit.

27 of 35

THE SALES SCRIPT

Path B — no website (the good-news pitch)

THE PITCH — WORD FOR WORD

“Well, I've got good news for you. We're a local 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, and we're looking to help local small businesses and sole proprietors by offering a free website, this also includes submission to search engines like Google and Bing and popular directories. We also offer services like professional email and phone, along with marketing and SEO. Can I get your email address so I can send you more information?”

Why this pitch works

  • “Local nonprofit” disarms telemarketer skepticism instantly
  • “Free website” is a genuine, concrete offer — not a gimmick
  • Asking only for an email is a tiny, easy first yes

If they say YES →

Move straight into data capture (next slide). Get every required field before you hang up — an email alone is not a qualified lead.

If they say NO → thank them and hang up. No pressure, ever.

28 of 35

THE SALES SCRIPT

Data capture — every field, every time

When a prospect says yes, collect ALL of the following and log it in the CRM before the call ends, directly send to Consultation form after:

First & last name

The decision-maker's full name

Email address

Read it back to confirm spelling

Phone number — verified

Confirm the best callback number digit by digit

In the CRM description/comments field, document the design brief:

Preferred site colors · Fonts · Themes / style direction · Competitor website references — everything our designers need to prepare their packet.

If they do have time, fill out consultation form! https://leadstart.org/consultation

Why it matters: a complete brief lets us build the sample site in 1–2 days — and a fast, on-target sample is what closes the sale.

29 of 35

THE SALES SCRIPT

Closing the sale & taking payment

1. Contract review

Client receives the Website Design Services Agreement. Ask them to review it thoroughly — set the expectation up front that revision rounds are limited, so feedback should be consolidated.

2. Sign electronically

Client signs through AdobeSign — this can be completed while you're on the phone with them.

3. Payment — leadstart.org/upgrade

If the client is ready to pay the deposit on the phone, direct them to leadstart.org/upgrade and have them select the $300 option to complete the purchase.

Not ready to buy, but curious? Send them to leadstart.org/get-started for information right away.

30 of 35

COMPLIANCE

The rules — non-negotiable

No means no

If a prospect says no, thank them and hang up. Never pressure the sale.

No calls after 7:00 PM

In the prospect's time zone — check before dialing across time zones.

Respect the Do-Not-Call list

If someone is on the DNC list or asks not to be called, mark them Disqualified in the CRM immediately.

Every call is recorded

All calls are monitored and recorded through the company phone system.

Never give your personal number

Not even to clients. All contact goes through your company-provided number.

Log everything

Every dial, every outcome, every note — in the CRM, in real time.

Violations of these rules can end the relationship immediately — they protect you, our clients, and the organization.

31 of 35

CLIENT PAPERWORK

What the client receives — the email packet

After you capture a qualified lead, the prospect gets our standard email. Know what's in it — clients will ask you about it.
