The Cabrera FAMILY

INTRODUCTION PAGE

Do you love home cooked recipes? If you do, you came to the right place. Welcome to the Cabrera’s section of our class cookbook. The family recipe and dessert recipe we chose to include in our class cookbook are cannelloni (family recipe) and crepes (dessert). We choose this family recipe because my father’s mom used to do these recipes and it got passed down to my father and now it’s going to get passed down to me and my siblings. We chose this dessert recipe because the crepe can also be used to make my family recipe, cannelloni. Some family traditions associated with this recipe are gathering together to prepare and enjoy this recipe with the whole family. I hope you enjoyed reading about my family tradition. This is a delicious recipe, so if you haven’t eaten it yet, you have to try it! It’s the best way to fill yourself up!

Crepes and Cannelonis

------------------------------------

By Francis Cabrera

Are you looking for delicious dishes from around the globe? A family recipe from home that represents a story about my family is Crepes and Cannelloni. I choose these recipes because they're delicious, it tells a story about my family, and it’s one of my dad’s specialties. Here’s some proof why I love these recipes.

The person involved with the story behind the recipe is my father’s mom. My dad usually bakes this recipe. It’s significant to my family because it has been passed from generation to generation. It’s a lovely way to share history between our family.

This recipe originates from France, Italy, and Argentina. This recipe originates from medieval times (Crepes) and 1907 (Cannelloni). This recipe is most used with caramel for dessert (Crepes) and Cannelloni for the main course. The last time someone baked this was last week.

A way this recipe has changed over time is that you can put any type of filling. The best filling is caramel (Crepes). The family traditions associated with this recipe are that my father used to eat this as a child, and now my siblings and I eat it too. If you eat these foods, you have to limit yourself!

If you eat these, imagine your in France, Italy, or Argentina to enjoy it even more. I chose these because they're delicious, it tells a story about my family, and it’s one of my dad’s specialities. You might want to try them. When you eat these, you might want another one!
