Why did you become a Teacher?
Curriculum & Instruction (C&I)
The Curriculum and Instruction Department support the SCUSD CORE Value and Equity, Access, and Social Justice Guiding Principle by providing professional learning opportunities for our staff and teachers to engage in to continuously grow professionally.
16
Our Why~
Onboarding provides an overview of the SCUSD new teacher support program. This workshop will establish the requirements and expectations of the program as well as the rationale.
Ongoing, comprehensive information and supports will be offered by your individual Support Providers. There will also be frequent opportunities for professional learning throughout the year.
“A teacher’s job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well-grounded.”
