Circuit

Conductivity

A Makey Makey is used to make a circuit. The electricity from your device passes to the Makey goes through a conductive material and alligator clips.

The circuit is grounded by your body!

When an object is conductive, it means electricity can flow through it. Eg. water, metal, tin foil!

If an object isn’t conductive, it’s an insulator

Connect a Makey-Makey to your poster

  1. Add conductive materials to your poster (brass fasteners, foil, copper tape, etc).

​

  • Connect alligator clips to conductive materials

​

  • You may want to try to ‘hide’ the wires behind your poster!

Code in Scratch

Remix or create a basic program

(Example: Program 1 & Program 2)

      • Change the background to one that suits your topic
      • Change the “Sprite” to one that suits your topic
      • Create and save voice audio recordings in Scratch.
