1. Learn about your selected adversity topic. Make sure you understand what it is about.
2. Come up with key words to use in your �search for information.
3. Come up with questions you want to find the answers to?
4. Research examples in history.
5. Research examples in today’s current events.

Historical and Current Topic Examples

Include the following info on binder paper when watching the videos:

1. Write the ADVERSITY TOPIC (Cycle of Poverty, etc) on separate pieces of binder paper. You will have EIGHT pieces of paper. �
2. Click on the GREEN links to watch the videos. Write the title of each video watched. �
3. Write 1-2 sentences for background and overview of the topic. Write one significant quote OR paraphrased example/event that may be used for evidence.�
4. Eventually, you only need to pick ONE historical and ONE current example for each topic in your yellow theme tracker to fill out. Choose carefully!�
5. Take notes on any additional main facts and ideas (use bullets)
