  • Get updated (bivalent) COVID-19 booster and flu shot

To do more:

  • Wear a mask when with others
  • Test before seeing loved ones
  • Get airflow moving
  • Stay home when you’re sick
  • Wash your hands
  • Cover your cough

  • Fever management – dosing instructions
  • Stay home at least 24 hours after there is no longer a fever or signs of a fever (without the use of fever-reducing medicine)

Bivalent Booster Effectiveness

  • Among Marin residents age 65+ who have gotten COVID-19 since September 1, 2022, the risk of being hospitalized for COVID-19 is 1.5 times higher in those who have not gotten the bivalent booster than in those who have gotten the bivalent booster

  • There have been zero deaths from COVID-19 in Marin residents 65+ who have gotten a bivalent booster
