Budget Your Life

  1. Select budget how much money you’ll need
  2. Pick the state and county you would like to live in (for example South Dakota, Lincoln)
  3. Select where you would like to live when you graduate from high school, go through each section picking what you want in the future and click on [next section- green button] after you make your selection
  4. Take a screenshot of the summary page, this page will list how much you will need to make for the lifestyle you picked.

Finding Housing or Finding Housing Word Doc (make a copy)

  1. Click on the Google Doc
  2. Under File, select “make a copy
  3. Rename: last name, finding housing
  4. Read, and then answer the 11 questions
  5. Go to share, click on “get a shareable link”, copy link and email me a copy of the link

Narrowing Down a Career

  1. Rate your interests (click under each column then click Next)
  2. Keep clicking on NEXT until you get to (select a job zone- select one) and then click Next
  3. Screenshot and explore “Careers that fit your interests and preparation level”

Meal Planning & Grocery Shopping or Meal Planning Word Doc (make a copy)

  1. Open the Google Doc
  2. Determine a food budget
  3. Plan meals and snacks for your family for a week
  4. Make a shopping list
  5. Shop using online grocery shopping (you do not have to purchase your food)
  6. Take a screenshot of your “Cart” and email it to me
