What is required to be student at RHS?

• Minimum of 8/9 periods in schedule each semester
• CE courses are weighted (3 college credit hours = 2 periods)
• Release time does not count towards 8/9
• Home release does not count, and can only be on the first or last part of the day unless approved by Admin. (Seniors only)

• Cannot repeat same internship for same pathway.
• Prerequisites: 2 related CTE courses in pathway.
• CTE Work Based Learning Internship Agreement can be obtained from Mrs. Alger (CTE Center)

Senior Checklist:

​

• 1.0 credits of LA 12 (or equivalent; Business Comm, Mythology, Lit.& Film or Prof. & Technical Communications) or CE Eng 1010
• Government or CE POLS 1100
• CE math if eligible (encouraged to finish college math if possible)
• Financial Lit or CE BUS 1210
• Meet CE GPA requirements (3.0) if enrolling in CE
• Have met all other graduation requirements (see CCR and graduation requirements)
• Equivalence of 8+ periods each semester

Junior Checklist:

• Full schedule (10MPF periods)
• LA 11 both semesters
• Full credit of math (Math 3, Math 3H, MPF, or Calculus)
• Complete social studies if needed (US history)
• Make sure additional 0.5 credit of social studies has been, or will be, completed (Current Issues, Psych, Economics or plan to take POLS 1100)
• Complete 3rd credit of science
• Meet GPA requirements for CE if enrolling in CE.
• Other courses needed for graduation if not yet completed (Arts / PE)
• Work toward completion of vocational pathway(s)

What is Concurrent Enrollment?

Concurrent Enrollment (CE)

• Taking College classes as a High school student
• Must register at both RHS & Snow College
• Grade goes on both transcripts

Concurrent Enrollment Eligibility and Advisement:

​

• General Education courses:
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA for up to 5 college credits
• Minimum of 3.8 for up to 9 college credits
• See counselor for more than 9 college credits

​

• Technical Education courses:
• Minimum of 2.5 GPA for up to 4 college credits
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA for up to 6 college credits
• See counselor for more than 6 college credits

​

*If a student previously enrolled in CE, a college GPA will be used to determine eligibility.

*Must be in good standing with attendance.
