  • Question Paper Printing for both A and B cert is by Groups as it used to happen every year with changes of MCQ based Questions.
  • Question paper setting of A cert by Group and B cert by Dte for which all Groups are sending one sample paper by 30 Nov 2023 as instr in VC.

  • Cert Printing will entail preparation of Data base (including scanned cadet photos)which will be fwd and all 63 units cadets data will be reqd to be updated and also digital signature will be obtained of all COs and Group Cdr

  • Special National Cadet Corps Order(SNCCO-2023) has been issued by HQ DG NCC Trg Branch in month of Sept 2023 and it elucidates about eligibility conditions & gen procedures for Conducting of Cert Exam for Cdts of Senior & Junior Div/Wings.

  • Cert A is Junior Div/Wing NCC & resp of conduct of exam etc of Unit/Bn

  • Cert B is Senior Div/Wing NCC & resp is of respective GPs and Dte

  • Cert C is SD/SW & resp is of Dte

  • Cadet must obtain 33% marks in each paper(combination of both written & practical) to pass the examination.
  • Grading A is for Cdts obtaining 70% or more marks.
  • Grading B is for Cdts obtaining 55% and above but below 70%.
  • Grading C is for Cdts obtaining 33% marks and above but below 55%
  • Fail is cadet getting less than 33% in any paper or aggregate.

Bonus Marks

  • Max weightage will not exceed 10% of maximum marks for any cadet in that particular Cert exam i.e. A,B and C.
  • Bonus marks will be awarded only for improvement in grading and not for passing exam that cadet has to qualify in cert exam to become eligible for bonus marks.
  • Cadet will be eligible for bonus marks as specified against the activity/event only once irrespective of number of times same activity/event attended y that specific cadets.

  • Cdts who have been ceased to be in rolls of NCC may be permitted to appear for Cert A exam for JD/JW and Cert B and C for SD/SW at their own expense within period of 18 Months of their discharge from NCC provided they were otherwise eligible.
  • Ex Cdt can appear for exam at any place if eligible in India by applying for same with the discharge cert to Local unit Cdr.Gp Cdr is empowered to accept such requests from ex cadets and his original enrolment number will be revived/

  • SD/SW service in NCC to obtain NCC Cert is 03 years which can be extended by pd of one year.Cdts can be given extn of max one year to appear in Cert exam on fwg grounds
    • Has not completed the mandated camp, trg and attendance to appear for the exam
    • Could not take the cert exam due to illness,exams,calamities or any other valid reason
    • Extn will be given on case to case basis and the extn in SD/SW will ony be given for C cert exam only once.

  • Inter Wing Tfr will be allowed to appear in the Cert exam pertaining to their new wing only after having attended additional 75% of the periods of the specialized subjects of the new wing.

  • Cdts have an option to change School/college while undergoing NCC trg & continue with balance of trg in next school/college or as open vacancy candidate all over the country.

  • Cdts who have failed in Cert A,B and C exam are allowed to re-appear in examination after applying through their unit within 90 days of declaration of exam results, subject to following conditions :
    • Cdt can reappear for test only once, within one year of having appeared earlier in Cert A,B or C exam.
    • Cdts will have to reappear in complete exam including practical
    • Exam in r/o will be held along with fresh cases in next trg year as per schedule.
    • Cdts who have obtained C grade in NCC B and C cert exam and wish to improve their grading will be allowed to appear for retest,only one retest allowed and better grading will be retained.
    • Failure cdts who wish to improve their grading may two weeks of special parade/coaching classes to be org by units, no refreshments will be provided or other allowance admissible.
    • B cert failure has to reappear in exam as mentioned above in his/her third year and on successful passing the affected cdt will appear for C cert exam by joining the NCC as extension case through open entry if institute/PG college not having NCC and attend mandatory trg classes & camps to appear in the exam

  • Cdt can seek re-evaluation of his cert A,B and C cert theory answer sheets within six months of the result being declassified by applying for the sam through the unit, if Cdts feel marks are not commensurate to answers, feels totalling mistake and there might be answers unchecked or unmarked.
  • Revaluation will be done by Gp HQ level thorugh a BOO and will encompass Evaluate any unmarked answers check totalling of marks and recommendation for issue of fresh cert
  • Cdt on request fo revaluation by his/her inspection of answer sheet, cdt will be called to office and shown their answer sheets in presence of designated officer and will sign a register to that effect before leaving.
  • Answer sheets of cert exam will be retained for a period of three years.

  • Duplicate Cert will be issued in genuine and specific request in writing.Dupicate cert will be signed and issued by officers auth to sign the original cert after ascertaiing the result from available records.Such cert will be enfaced with Duplicate stamp on top of cert.
  • Cdt to submit application stating reasons for obtaining duplicate cert duly countersigned by ANO
  • In caseof loss of cert the cdt will also submit FIR and an affidavit and all documents will be scruitnised by all up in chain

  • Disposal of all cases of Old pattern/damaged/misprint/torn/deficient NCC cert will be decided on the recommendations of BOO convened by the NCC Directorates.Record of same will be maint at Dte/Gp/Unit level

  • BOO detailed for setting C Cet exam Question papers and Answer keys headed by a Maj Gen normally an ADG of one of the Dtes.
  • BOO prepares the same in seven working Days & Handover to Brig Trg.
  • Dispatch of Q paper is on official nic mail id of State Dte ADG 10 days prior for printing by respective State Dtes and password is shared with ADG.
  • Printing is done under a BOO supervised by AD Trg B in Govt Printing Press at Charni Road.
  • Govt printing press seals and packs as per the no of centres as per demand of each Group.
  • Four to five days prior the packing is completed and BOO distributes to the reps of each Groups.

  • On exam day all the Groups have BOO to open the Question paper in front of the Cadets and then distribute it for writing the exam
  • All Centre's are live to the Dte and also to DG NCC during the entire exams.
  • Dte details reps for centers to do surprise visit and check the proceeding of the exam.
