#3 -The Graduation Pathway Requirement

SLHS Students can demonstrate post-high school readiness in English and math by completing (or combining completion) of any of the following options:

  • Meet Standard on State Assessments - SBA English and/or Math

  • Pass 2.0+ credits in one CTE Pathway

  • Take/pass Bridge to College English and/or Financial Algebra

  • Pass college-level English and/or math classes

  • Meet Standard on ASVAB or SAT or ACT Assessments

How to read the Graduation Requirements Report or Screen (in Skyward)

Columns:

  1. “Required” - Total Credit Required to Graduate
  2. “Completed” - Total Credit You Have Earned So Far
  3. “In Process” = Classes You are Scheduled in (credits you can earn in classes) Q3 & Q4
  4. “Remaining” = What You Still Need to Earn
  5. If a class is “Remaining”, and not “In Process” - you

need to take/pass this course to graduate

  • Once you pass “In Process” classes, the credits

are added to the “Completed” column and

subtracted from the “Remaining” column

For now, please ignore the “Waived” & “Equivalency” Columns
