Medical Clearances

  • ArbiterSports

  • Portal will open 30 days prior to the start of the season.
  • All medical information must be downloaded.
  • Arbiter customer support is available via phone or email. Call 1-800-311-4060
  • or via email support@arbitersports.com
  • If there is a problem with your registration the nurse will email you, make sure that

you sign up with an email that you check daily. *New feature with ArbiterSports-registered cell phone will receive a text to check your email.

Commitment /Communication

  • Practice Monday thru Saturday immediately afterschool and usually Saturday mornings.
  • Extra Help- must bring a note to the coach from the teacher. Only reason to miss extra help would be an early bus to an away game.
  • Advanced notice to coaches when possible.
  • Encourage the athlete to talk to the coach.
  • There will be games and practices during vacations and long weekends.

Tryouts

  • Everyone will be given a 3-5 day tryout.
  • Not attending will impact selection.
  • Students should talk to coaches with questions regarding team placement.

Injuries

  • Report all injuries to your coaches.
  • Medical notes should be given to school nurses Sophia Amorgiano or Jean Betzios.
  • If you see a doctor for an injury, you will need a note from the doctor in order to return to play.
  • Athletic Trainer – Zach Monette
  • Injuries away from school should also be reported, could impact athlete’s health and risk of further injury.

Game Schedule

  • Weekly schedule is posted on the Athletics Web Site – subject to changes – updated regularly
  • Most games are scheduled to be begin at 5:00 PM
  • Athletes are expected to travel to and from games with their team
  • Any exception must be in writing and approved by Athletic Office

Transportation

  • Shuttle Buses to off site practices will be drop off only.
  • Athletes are expected to travel to and from games with their team on the bus.
  • If an athlete needs to be driven home by their parent a note must be send to the Athletic Director 24 hours prior to the game for approval.
  • It is against North Shore School Districts policy to allow athletes to be driven home from a game by anyone other than an approved member of their family.

Locker Rooms

  • Gym Lockers will be used after school.
  • Lock up your valuables.
  • Nothing left on the floor or on top of lockers.
  • Not a place to congregate and hangout.
  • Drop your gear in the team locker room before school.
  • Do not just throw equipment on the floor in the front locker room.

Spectator Behavior

  • Section VIII Policy
    • If you are removed from a contest by a supervisor, official or any security person you will automatically be banned from the next two contests. No exceptions, if it happens again, you could be banned for an entire season.
