PURPOSE

The Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee (LRFPC) is a representative group of stakeholders including students, parents, staff, and community members charged with ensuring BISD provides safe and effective conditions for learning and performance across the district in a way that is responsible and respectful of our stakeholders’ investment in our schools. The LRFPC serves in an advisory capacity through recommendations made to BISD administrators and the BISD Board of Trustees.

  4. Work through solutions until there is at least ¾ support of active committee participants in agreement with the recommendations made to the Board of Trustees (“Active” participants will have attend 3 of 5 meetings for 2025-2026.)
  5. Ensure we effectively communicate with our community about our needs to work toward collective understanding
