Benefits of VR to Tourism Industry:

  • Visual representations can be valuable to destinations without name recognition (ie Slovakia, Uganda) but clear visual beauty in travel experiences
  • Careful storytelling is necessary to be persuasive - give viewers just enough of a taste to convert their experience into purchasing a travel experience
    • VR experience needs to be cool, but Actual Experience must beat VR
