Differentiated Accountability 2016-2017

In 2016-2017 we will use 3 of the 5 Conceptual Areas with all districts, nonpublic schools, and AEAs

  • Assessment/DBDM, Universal Instruction, and Intensification

  • Assessment/DBDM and Universal Instruction will be used immediately.

  • Intensification will be used statewide, but identification of districts, schools, and AEAs will be delayed until later in the fall.

Differentiated Accountability 2016-2017

We believe we can manage a maximum of 5% of Iowa school districts (approx 16-18 school districts) in intensive support, which should also align us with ESSA’s expectation for intensive support.
