Booster Club Mission

The Mounds View Boys Hockey team is supported by the Boys Hockey Booster Club which raises funds for the team to supplement school funding and enhance the player’s experience during the season, both on and off the ice.

The season experience is supported by three different groups,

working together:

  1. Hockey Families
  2. Mounds View High School
  3. Boys Hockey Booster Club

Hockey Family Contribution

Hockey Registration Fee $330

Mustang Apparel Fee $300

MVHS ATHLETICS PROVIDES

Bus Transportation to/from away games

Ice fees for practices and games, referees for games

PA announcer, personnel to work the clock/scorebook, and penalty boxes for both JV and Varsity games

Equipment: game jerseys, socks, breezers, helmet, gloves, and equipment bag (bag given to Senior at end of season)

Miscellaneous supplies: hockey tape, first aid supplies

Training Haus Strength Training

  • Schedule set by coaching staff; runs entire season
  • Value $300/player

Equipment

  • Portable skate sharpeners
  • Sharpener maintenance and grinding wheels

Nourishment

  • Carbo loads - 4 to 6 per season (catered by local restaurant)
  • Post game meals for all road games (e.g. Park, East Ridge, etc)
  • Snacks and beverages pre and post-game
  • Saturday morning post skate breakfasts

  • SHOES AND SOCKS MUST BE WORN. NO OPEN TOE SHOES OR SANDALS ARE ALLOWED. �
  • NO SHORTS, CAPRIS, YOGA PANTS OR CLOTHING WITH HOLES. CLOTHING MUST BE WORK APPROPRIATE.�
  • WEAR YOUR UNIFORM SHIRT OR JERSEY (IF POSSIBLE). �Wear something that clearly identifies the team you are bagging for.
  • ALWAYS GREET CUSTOMERS AND ASK IF THEY WANT THEIR GROCERIES BAGGED.�
