How to Claim a User Account

  • New users should access the BDS Cloud at https://cloud.bayschools.net
  • Click “Claim My Account”

  • Ensure that the option “Staff - Claim Policy” is selected
  • Click “Next”

  • Enter your first name, last name, and employee ID as HR has entered it on your HR profile

  • Read through the terms and conditions
  • Check the box stating that you agree to the terms and conditions
  • Click “Next”

  • Create a new passphrase which follows the requirements listed
  • Retype the same new passphrase to verify
  • Click “Next”

  • Make a note of the username that displays in green on the next page. You will need this when accessing district computers, software programs, email, etc.
