Best ways PARENTS can

contact a counselor:

Encourage your student to:

      • Contact their counselor during their lunch or before school. Personal responsibility is one of our school wide outcomes.
      • Email their counselor with any questions you or they may have.

*Email is the most effective way to contact your student’s counselor. If you have a concern that cannot be addressed by your student, please email your student’s counselor. Drop-in appointments cannot be accomodated. Please allow two school days for a response. Due to high caseloads, you may receive an automated response during busy times.

How do Students Choose???

30 of 35

Do I like the snow?

Can I share a classroom with 500 students?

Am I applying to these colleges because of the name or because of what they have to offer?

Do I have the money to attend this program? Will I be in debt when I graduate?

Am I ready to attend a four year college?

Is a community college the right fit for me?

Can I do my own laundry and cook for myself?

Fit matters!

Do they have the major I want?
