42 of 80

What are the effects of poverty on the youth in New York City? ¿Cuáles son los efectos de la pobreza en los jóvenes de la ciudad de Nueva York?

One of the effects of poverty on young people in New York City is that the parents of young people are more likely to have health or mental problems. Children who are poor are also more likely to have illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, or mental development problems. Also, that people with the greatest poverty have to have a lot of support to be able to continue with these diseases because they do not have money to support it. The evidence is that "The parents of these children have a higher prevalence of health and mental health problems." When analyzing this, I see poor people need a lot of help since they go through diseases that everyone cannot imagine. Therefore the effects of poverty on the youth of New York City are dire.
