*We are nearing the 2nd nine weeks midterm. Please take the time to review letters, sounds, shapes, and sight words with your child. All the skills on the I Can statement page will be covered during the assessment. Thank you for all of your help!!�

Color Word: black�Reading Skill: compare and contrast�Vocabulary Words: shopping cart, dumptruck, surprise, yesterday, miss, luck, puff, pulling �Math: Comparing object length, height and weight.Writing numbers 0-60.�Writing: We will continue to work
on writing our first and last names.�
Reminders:
*Our field trip has been rescheduled! It will be Monday, November the 8th. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time. :)
*Wear black on Friday.
*GCPS PTO meeting is scheduled for November 9th beginning at 5:00 pm.
*Nov. 24-26 Thanksgiving Break!!!
Reminders:
*Thursday, November the 11th is our Veterans Day Celebration. If you have a veteran you would like honored, please send in a picture digitally (email, text) so that they can be included in a veteran’s slide show. These will be shared on the schools webpage and facebook page. Also on the 11th, please let your child wear red, white and blue to show our respect and patriotism toward our veterans. We will be participating in a district wide program at Green County High School starting at 9:00. Watch for pictures and videos on the school’s sites!
*Parent teacher conferences will soon be under way. Please be on the lookout for a note with a date and time If you do not receive a note and would like to meet with me, just let me know. Thanks!
