Understanding Mental Health
Mae Iechyd Meddwl yn gyflwr o les meddyliol sy’n galluogi pobl i ymdopi â straen bywyd, gwireddu eu galluoedd, dysgu a gweithio’n dda, a chyfrannu at eu cymuned.
Mae’n rhan annatod o iechyd a llesiant sy’n sail i’n gallu ni fel unigolyn, a gydag eraill, i wneud penderfyniadau, meithrin perthnasoedd a siapio’r byd rydym yn byw ynddo.
MH is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realise their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their community.
It is an integral component of health and well-being that underpins our individual and collective abilities to make decisions, build relationships and shape the world we live in.

Myth: Mae cyflwr iechyd meddwl yn arwydd o wendid; pe bai'r person yn gryfach, fyddai ganddo ddim y cyflwr hwn.
Myth: Mae pob person sydd â chyflwr iechyd meddwl yn 'beryglus', yn 'wallgof' neu'n 'anghymwys'
Myth: A mental health condition is a sign of weakness; if the person were stronger, they would not have this condition.
Myth: Every person with a mental health condition is 'dangerous', 'crazy' or 'incompetent'

1 in 4 of us will face MH struggles each year.
This could range from anxiety and depression to to rarer problems such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Bydd 1 o bob 4 ohonom yn wynebu trafferthion iechyd meddwl bob blwyddyn.
Gall hyn amrywio o orbryder ac iselder i broblemau mwy anghyffredin fel sgitsoffrenia ac anhwylder deubegwn.

Having a mental health problem is not unusual.
Now more than ever, we are all more aware of mental health and able to help people who are suffering.
If you feel like your mental health is not right, speak up!
Nid yw cael problem iechyd meddwl yn anarferol.
Nawr, yn fwy nag erioed, rydyn ni i gyd yn fwy ymwybodol o iechyd meddyliol ac yn gallu helpu pobl sy'n dioddef.
