One-on-one dedicated and on-demand mentoring from 40+ experienced entrepreneurs across industries.

Live events and on-demand resources including vertical and industry specific support in Arts + Creative, MedTech, Retail Devils, Social Impact, and Venture Devils PLUS.

Funding Opportunities

2 Demo Days annually to pitch for $1k-50k in funding and connections to additional funding opportunities.

Place-Based Innovation Spaces access and an extensive resource library of free or discounted business services.

Who is eligible to participate in Venture Devils?

  • Students. New or existing ventures must have at least one current ASU or Maricopa Community College student as a lead founding team member. The lead founder may be an undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral or part-time student enrolled in any in-person or online program or course(s). Students must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program and are taking at least one credit-earning course. All majors are welcome.

Program Logistics

  • The Venture Devils submission form is a non-competitive submission.
  • There is no cap on accepted ventures in the program.
  • We accept ventures in all stages of development.
  • Venture Devils is not a course or tied to an academic program/unit. You will not be graded, and it will not show up on your transcript.
  • There are no time requirements for the program. You may remain in the program until you graduate.
  • There is no cost to be in the program.
  • You may have multiple ventures in the program. Please note: each venture will require a separate submission.

  • Your ASURITE (ASU students) or MEID (MCCCD students)
  • Founder(s) demographic information
    • This includes information about the lead founder and co-founders (if applicable)
  • Summary of your venture
    • Tell us a bit about your venture.
  • Problem Statement for your venture
    • What problem is your venture addressing?
  • Solution Statement for your venture
    • Explain your [potential] solution and how it works.

Note on Funding

*Please note, ventures that have been awarded, received, or entered into an agreement of $50K or more in funding (within Venture Devils OR external funding) are not eligible to compete in our bi-annual Venture Devils Demo Day competitions. External funding may include but is not limited to the following examples: venture capital or angel investments, crowdfunding, seed funding awards from outside competitions, grant funding, and source funds from venture incubators or accelerator programs. Ventures that have received funding beyond the aforementioned threshold are still welcome to engage with our mentors, collaborative spaces, and other activities offered in Venture Devils.
