Role: Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) partners with Iowa schools to deliver career development programming that includes leadership training, career education, individualized guidance and employer engagement.

Kids on Course

Role: Providing students with new opportunities and guidance in navigating barriers so they can succeed in school and life. Students can only enroll during their elementary years at designated Title 1 schools and have to continue participating to be eligible for high school supports

Social, Emotional, Behavioral Health (SEBH) Intervention Specialist

Role: The SEBH Intervention Specialist provides extra support for students with IEPs, 504s, or who have Tier 3 plans. In conjunction with the learning support team and families, the SEBH Intervention Specialist create clear plans, guide staff strategies, and make sure supports are consists for the student to succeed.

Transition Alliance Program (TAP)

Role: Provides Pre-Employment Transition Services for students who have an IEP, 504 Plan, or documented disability. TAP can continue to provide services beyond high school graduation when a student signs up for Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS).

TRIO Talent Search

Role: TRIO Talent Search is a program that supports 6th-12th graders who are interested in going to ANY college.

Services: Tutoring, Career exploration, STEM Summer Days, College Visits, Cultural Events, ACT Test Prep, College Application Help, FAFSA and scholarship help.

Tangaer Therapist

Role: Provide evidence-based treatment to students struggling with mental and behavioral challenges

Services: Offers therapy to students, as well as supports teachers and school officials with training, coaching, mentoring, and consultation and provides parent outreach to connect families with resources in their community.

Purpose: To provide gently used clothing, school supplies, shoes, hygiene products, etc to students. (Donations are welcomed, see Sara Young for additional information on how you can contribute to J’s Closet)
