Purpose & perks of the project repository/ database

  • Purpose
    • To streamline QI projects
    • Increase visibility to residents, medical students, and other faculty
      • Increase collaboration since faculty can see other faculty’s projects
  • Perks
    • Can be viewed and updated in real time
    • Faculty and residents can BOTH submit projects
      • 🡪Mentor-mentee matching

How to use the website

  • Be logged into your wisc email account using your Net ID and password
    • This will NOT work if logged into UW Health email account
    • Consider forwarding the email with the link if that will help

Information you will want to know to complete the form

    • A tentative descriptive title- what the project is looking at
    • Your division
    • A brief description of the project. This is typically a few sentences or so.
    • The current regulatory status with the following choices
      • Regulatory approval not yet obtained
      • QI exemption obtained
      • IRB approved
    • Your name
    • Your contact information (email address)
    • An option to attach further information.
      • This can be a project description or anything you else think that learners seeking projects might find useful. Some upload the PDF of what was submitted for QI exemption. Some upload the protocol from an IRB. Some upload nothing.
