How To See Your Counselor
The Counseling Department is located in the Student Center.
Students may “drop-in” during their lunch time or after school
. Request for Appointment -Available by QR code.
Parents may call the Main Office or Student Center to make an appointment with their student’s counselor
OR call/ email student’s counselor directly.

Grade F=no credit and student may need to retake the class IF it is a graduation requirement.

Summer School Graduate- No participation in the graduation
ceremony.
Dual Enrollment
Enroll in up to eleven college units per semester while in high school.
Make an appointment with your high school counselor to determine eligibility.
Enrollment is a two step process.
Apply to community college for the upcoming semester.
Complete the dual enrollment/academic enrichment application.
Eligible student must earn a C or higher in the class to earn college credit.
Letter of Recommendation
MUST BE REQUESTED AT LEAST 2 WEEKS in advance to allow ample time for recommenders.
Brag sheet forms can be obtained from counselors, online or in the Student Center.
Requests will not be accepted less than two weeks prior to the deadline.
Letters will not be written over breaks or holidays and does not count as the two week notice.

(ASVAB stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Exam)
ASVAB exam is used to determine enlistment
eligibility for potential recruits, assign military jobs and aid students in career exploration
